American Horror stories #greatestshowever

Its wednesday and we all know what that means. I'm going to be glued to my screen from the hours of 9-10, why you ask? BECAUSE AMERICAN HORROR STORIES IS ON. If you have never seen the show before you obviously have issues because this is one of the most interesting shows on TV right now. All of the episodes intertwine together and there is so much mystery involved. The show is centered around a family who is trying to rebuild their life after the husband was unfaithful. The house they move in to is haunted but its more than just that. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but its not your average horror story SO WATCH IT! Its on wednesdays at 9&10 on FX!

A couple of reasons as to why I feel lucky

It has come to my attention recently that other floors at my school are not as close as mine. I am extremely lucky to have been put on a floor with such great people, I truly feel blessed. We all have such a feel of community whether its hanging out in our lounge together or everyone piling up in my room to hang out or watch movies. We even decided to go on spring break together! Now who else can say that? I know that whenever I go out I have a group of guys to protect me from a world of ass holes, guys who care about how and when we get home. I guess I just want to say thank you guys for being awesome I know these friendships will last a lifetime :)

I wish I could draw

Its really hard to go to an art school and be one of the people who have no artistic talent at all. I live on a floor with girls who have amazing talent! They can draw pictures that look like photographs and their rooms are so creative I mean I like interior designing but these girls take it to a new level, I wish I had their talent.

*sighs* If only....

That moment you realize...

..The guys from Disney channel you thought were hot when you were younger actually aren't...

I was having a discussion with my friends about the show boy meets world and how we thought sean was 'so hot' and we were obsessed with him but looking back thats actually a no. Its also funny how old Disney stars and up in terrible movies now a days. In fact in the movie 'Tooth & Nail' one of the 8 Films to Die for the guy who played Shawn (Rider Strong) and the dad from Lizzie McGuire (Robert Carradine) were both in it! Can you say rock bottom? I just think its funny when you are on a TV series for such a long time and then when its over so is your career. Remember the kid from the movie the 13th year? Yeah I used to think he was a stud muffin when I was a petit but then I re-watched that movie and let me just say the feelings were not the same. In my opinion if your cute when you are younger you have no chance when your older and vice versa, thank God some of us need a chance!

Just another obsession of mine

Of the many things I do in class besides listen like I should this has to be in my top 5. Rage comics are probably one of the funniest kinds of comics I read. A lot of people don't understand what rage comics are so let me break it down for you a rage comic is a comic strip that anyone can make and upload that tells a story about something that, usually, pissed them off or a story about what they did to piss someone else off. The craze called STUMBLE

Stumbleupon is probably the best thing that has ever happened to me (sorry Jared...). People who don't know what stumbleupon is may I ask what rock you have been hiding under? All I do is spend time stumbling I don't even pay attention in class anymore and its sad. Sometimes when I'm feeling down I just stumble on pictures of cats and it always puts a smile on my face. Need a recipe? Stumble will bring you to a million different cooking sites! Its so entertaining it brings me to new clothing sites and it just feeds in to my addiction of seeing how many things I can stuff in to my closet until it explodes. If I was on a deserted island all I would need was my stumble <3 (again..sorry Jared...). Now here are just a few of my favorite things Oprah Winfrey!

What is love? Baby don't huuuurt meeee!

Recently in my theatre class we had to watch a movie called The Laramie Project, for those of you who haven't heard of it the movie is a look at all the interviews from people of a town called Laramie in Wyoming. All referring to the murder of Matthew Shepard, a local college student who was beaten, tied to a fence and left for dead just because he was gay. One scene in particular really made me mad it was of a man, who did not live there, and his following picketing the trial holding up signs like "Burn in Hell Matt", "Aids cures" basically everything revolving around homosexuality being a sin. He said the only reason that the trial was turned in to a big deal was because Matt was gay and if he wasn't no one would be making a fuss about it. Well I think the murder/trial turned in to such a media frenzy because it was such a brutal crime done to someone who was just being themselves. People like this piss me off! I am all for believing in your own opinions and if you don't want to be swayed that's fine you have a right to your opinion but no one has any right to say your going to burn in hell because of who you are attracted to. You don't chose to be gay any more than you chose to be attracted to your Gf/Bf. Homosexuality is not a choice. You don't pick who you are attracted to! It's something you can't control it just happens. I think people need to focus on accepting people for who they are, not try to convince people homosexuality is ok. Some people will never be convinced, and thats fine its their right but GOD is the ultimate judge, he will decide what happens in the end. You can read the bible over and over again but you do not make the decisions of what happens to people and for you to think you have a right to tell another person they're going to Hell is a sin in itself thats not for you to decide, you don't have that power. Acceptance is what we should aim for, just accept people for who they are and let them live how they want its a free country. How would you like it if you were criticized for trying to love someone?
